  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 medium-size onion, quartered
  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar


To make barbecue sauce

In the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade, purée the ketchup, onion, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Tabasco, and brown sugar. Set aside.
