In this first chapter, you immediately know what to look for, from mushrooms during the autumn to game during the hunting season. At the edge of the woods and forests, wild apples and hazelnuts are often found, along with wild garlic and edible moss. Nature made it all available for us; we just have to know where to look and what to do with it. And respect that some things are not available right now and we need to be patient and wait until next time around. The anticipation makes it all the more exciting.
