  • About
Bread dough likes to relax, just like you, so don’t go rushing it, you hear?
Prior to unlocking the bread-baking beast inside me, I was actually on the hunt for a new hobby, and I had pretty specific guidelines. I wanted to find something that I could do at home, that was physical, and ideally that I could share with other people. I’d tried my hand at a couple of fermented foods, like kombucha (fermented tea) and kefir (cultured milk, kinda like yogurt but more liquidy), but neither of them really tugged at my heartstrings. But bread—there was something elemental about the whole thing that I found deeply satisfying. And come on, I mean, my last name is BAKER. You’ve gotta be kidding me.
