Debbie Major is a self-taught cook, freelance food writer and food stylist who has slaved away under the lights and over a hot stove for more 30 years. Over the years she has worked as a professional cook, behind the scenes on many TV cookery programmes, worked closely with and ghost-written for many well-known celebrity chefs, and contributed countless recipes and food photographs to numerous magazines and cookery books. She currently has a regular series on heritage British ingredients in Delicious Magazine. She is known for her dedication to seasonal home cooking and her love of all things rustic and authentic, home-grown and healthy…..and simplicity over cheffy is her motto!
