Robyn Eckhardt has been writing about food and travel in Asia, Turkey and beyond for over a decade, for publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal Asia and Travel+Leisure Southeast Asia. In 2017 Rux Martin Books / Houghton Mifflin Harcourt will publish her cookbook Istanbul and Beyond, on the foods of Istanbul and eastern Turkey. Robyn co-publishes, with photographer David Hagerman, the award-winning food blog EatingAsia. She leads culinary tours in her adopted home of Penang, Malaysia and, with David, organizes food writing and photography workshops in Turkey and Asia.
