Stephen Mennell

For people interested in food, Stephen Mennell's best known book is All Manners of Food: Eating and Taste in England and France from the Middle Ages to the Present (1985, now available from University of Illinois Press). He is currently President of the International Sociological Association's research group on Historical and Comparative Sociology.
