Original Sin

Back in the Garden of Eden, was it a quince or an apple that cast the spell? Taking a bet each way, I use both fruits together here as they complement each other so well and are in season at the same time. Then I introduce a hint of spice for further depth of flavour and suddenly your tastebuds fall under a spell, too. Is it a sin to desire something so much? I don’t think so – take another spoonful . . .
