Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c.

Method

  • Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm (not hot) water. Beat in half the flour; add salt, oil and remaining flour. Mix well; knead until smooth, adding more flour if needed. Place in lightly oiled bowl; turn dough to oil top. Cover; let rise in warm place (85° to 90°F.) until doubled.
