  • About

At Falafel Arafe at the entrance to Acre’s Old City, three generations of the Arafe family have been serving sizzling falafel since 1959.

Saïd changed the way hummus joints operate in Acre, from quick stop-over meals to a full dining experience infused with freshly pressed olive oil and warm pitas baked on the spot.

“I am married to hummus,” says Suheila at her Abu Sohil Hummus eatery, which she has been operating since 1993.
