This chapter contains all the recipes I just couldn’t leave out of the book. They are an assortment of recipes that have been given to me by family or have been donated by friends and organisations I have worked with over the years. There’s also the recipe that started me off on this food journey, Amah’s Sticky Cold Sweet Rice.

They’re mainly savoury recipes, so apologies to the more sweet-toothed readers amongst you, but there are plenty of sweet recipes in the rest of the book as in hot and cold desserts (puddings) and a large selection of cakes and bakes. I’m happy to say that there are also two recipes in this chapter that were given to me by my daughter and my sister, making it a real family affair.
