Mowgli Street Food

  • About
The street chat section of our menu is the reason I built Mowgli. It is the way that Indians eat day in, day out in every corner of their lives: from schools and railways to offices. It is the reason I chose the title Mowgli Street Food and, since then, the sudden proliferation of this phrase irks me daily, but should it?
Food is a little like fashion. There are fads that are bang on trend, there are timeless classics, there is the readily forgiven ethnic scene and the crushingly difficult haute couture of Michelin aspiration.
