Christmas in the Southern Hemisphere

Sunshine, long balmy days... Christmastime in the Southern Hemisphere is a world away from the frosty, snowy landscapes of a northern winter, yet traditional European and British dishes such as Trifle and Mince Pies still claim their place at the festive table – although a fruit-and-meringue 'pav' is always welcome. There's always the barbecue option too: feast on Marinated Lamb Chops, or throw another prawn on the barbie.
