Karima Moyer-Nocchi is a food historian and writer. She is a native of the United States and has lived in Italy for more than 25 years, where she presently resides with her husband in Città di Castello, Umbria. She is a professor at the University of Siena and author of the book Chewing the Fat - An Oral History of Italian Foodways from Fascism to Dolce Vita, which was published at the end of August, 2015.
