I remember reading this book for the first time , every picture could have easily been a painting. His style is so beautiful that it hasn't aged at all and like the work of all great artists becomes timeless
Marco Pierre White
This book seduced every chef in the country into the idea that cooking was cool, that being a chef was akin to being a pirate or a rock 'n' roller. Weirdly I've never liked the food in this book but the iconic imagery inspired a generation.
Ferran Adria, Albert Adria and Juli Soler
Technically the greatest cookbook I've ever seen. This would be my number 1 if the other two weren't so iconic.
this is the best design and layout of a cook book its fresh , modern and it is unique. a world class book from a top British chef
I love this book. Angel Leon isn't well known in England but is a real innovator the focus is purely on fish which is my favourite ingredien.t
This guy is probably the best pastry chef in the world this was his first book his 2nd is even better but this one makes my list because it got me hooked on pastry
This was the first book I ever read it was on my moms kitchen shelf. it was through this book I started cooking and although its no longer the food I enjoy, this book has a place in my heart
I love this book because my face is in it. I'm sure that's why its been so popular worldwide a lot of teenage girls idolising me , its like beatlemania all over again
The best tv chef there ever was a guy who truly loved food and drink.
This is the industry standard in Britain every young cook is given this. It is almost biblical yet mind-blowingly boring.
