Molly’s culinary background includes work as an editor for Food52, teaching cooking classes, catering, working for Americorps as a Nutrition Educator and Local Food Procurement Specialist, and cooking and baking professionally at restaurants across the US, including Oliveto in Oakland. She is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America as well as Grinnell College, where she founded Grinnell Foodies for a Sustainable Community and conducted an independent study examining the state of the school lunch system in the area. As a special fellow at Grinnell, she researched and wrote a project entitled “Lunch Trays Around the World: Food, Education and Politics.” Molly and her husband Noah currently live in Austin, Texas, with their four rescued cats and a seriously stocked bar cart.
