Sarah Randell began her career in private catering and as a chef before moving on to recipe writing and development for New Covent Garden Soup Co. She has since worked in Australia, New Zealand and New York. For more than ten years, she worked with Delia Smith on the development of recipes for Delias magazine, television programmes and best-selling cookery books. Sarah was Food Director of Sainsbury's magazine for several years. She is now a freelance writer, and her cookery books include Family Baking (Ryland, Peters & Small) and, most recently, Marmalade:A Bittersweet Cookbook (Saltyard). In 2015 she launched her own range of Bittersweet marmalades.
