Tim Anderson is a London-based chef and food writer, author of Nanban: Japanese Soul Food and Executive Chef / Owner of the Japanese restaurant Nanban in London. Tim’s cooking is based on regional Japanese food, but it is also informed by his American heritage and a personal history of worldwide culinary tourism. At just 26, millions watched Tim emerge victorious on BBC1’s MasterChef in 2011 as the youngest ever winner, and he has since enjoyed an exciting career in the world of food. Currently, he can be found serving his unique brand of Japanese soul food at Nanban, in a restored 1920’s pie and eel shop in Brixton, one of London’s most exciting culinary neighbourhoods.
