If you have ever made homemade brownies or chocolate chip cookies, then you have likely already utilized the main mixing methods that will cover the bulk of all cookies and bars: the One-Bowl Method for Cookies and the Creaming Method for Cookies. Notice that I specify “for cookies” for each of these methods. This is because there are versions of these mixing methods that are utilized specifically for cakes as well, but they vary slightly in their process.
