I’m a huge sauce person. I love dipping, spreading, and putting a little something on just about everything. When I lived in Louisiana, I learned the word lagniappe, which means something extra special, like a bonus or gift. That’s what sauces are to me, and Louisiana is where my palate for fine dining and sauces in particular came from. And, of course, you can’t have pizza without sauce. So I’ve shared some of my favorites, from standard marinara and Bolognese to cauliflower white sauce, salsa, cauliflower leaf pesto, and three plant-based cheeses to go with.
