Peter Reinhart is the author of ten books on bread, pizza, and food culture, including the 2002 Cookbook of the Year (both James Beard and IACP Awards), "The Bread Baker's Apprentice." He is baking instructor at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC, where he lives with his wife, Susan. His popular TED Talk on "The Meaning of Bread" has been viewed by over 700,000 people.
