  • About
Cake is everyone’s idea of a good time—that’s why the major celebrations of life such as birthdays, christenings, Bar Mitzvahs, weddings, and anniversaries are always celebrated with special cakes. I can still remember some of my childhood birthday cakes, but I guess I was already obsessed with baking at an early age. And some of the very first things I tried my hand at were baking cakes. Most cakes are really easy to make, especially the type that only need to be unmolded and cooled before serving. If you’re a little more ambitious, you can certainly make a layer cake with a minimum of effort.
