  • About
Making bread isn’t something you can do in a hurry, but if you have a bit of time it’s very easy and good fun. Freshly made flatbreads and coca bread are both great because once you’ve cracked the method, you can put anything you want on top. The breads here are all a cinch to make and don’t need much in the way of kneading and proving, but they’re also real crowd-pleasers and make your friends feel like you’ve made much more effort than you actually have – which is always good.
Whether your bread’s homemade or a decent loaf from the shops, it usually ends up wrapped around some kind of a sandwich. Apart from using great bread and classic flavour combinations, when we’re making sandwiches we really try to make them appealing to the eye – bursting with texture and colour. Some of the ideas in this section are really simple – barely even a recipe – some a bit more complicated, but they’re all heavy hitters when it comes to taste.
