  • About

Barbecuing is a great way of entertaining and Australians have perfected the art of barbecuing, whether in the garden or on a tiny inner-city patio. Chops and sausages have today been joined on the barbecue by international flavours, and foods such as king prawns (shrimps), kangaroo sates and vegetables.

I suspect that most children learn to cook at the barbecue these days.
It is fun (except for the smoke in the eyes) and as it is usually in the garden it doesn’t matter if they spill food. I first learnt to cook at the barbecue—summer Sunday gatherings in the garden with burnt sausages and lamb chops, but great steak.
