  • About
Paris is the place I can always dip into to restore my creativity. There are some timeless pleasures, of course, like knowing that I can always find great bread, great wine, and great cheese. I’ll walk and walk and walk near my favorite spots, taking in the soothing rhythm of the arcades at the Place des Vosges, the graceful allées at the Jardin du Luxembourg, and the intimate charm of the Musée Picasso in the Marais. I’ll almost always make time to wander through the extraordinary President Wilson farmers’ market, gaping at the mountains of radishes, forests of sunflowers, and icy mounds of silvery fish. I regularly check in for a glass at Le Baron Rouge, an old favorite wine bar that’s reliably packed and reliably fun.
