I love holiday baking more than just about anything. Would you believe that I start thinking about our annual holiday bash in July? When it’s someone’s birthday, I like to refer to it as his or her “birthday season.” I believe birthdays are major milestones that deserve more than just one day of celebration–don’t you? And I admit I have been known to invent an occasion just to be able to mark it with a special dessert. Luckily for me, holidays happen for us year-round and that may very well be the absolute best part of owning a bakery. We never miss a party or a reason to ramp up production to celebrate a holiday.
