Belin che fugassa!
This is the rather off-color Ligurian exclamation to describe wonderful focaccia. It must be one of the most frequently uttered phrases in the region, but especially in the province of Genoa. And nowhere is the focaccia better than in Recco (south of the Ligurian capital), which may be the best food town on the entire Italian Riviera. Recco does not make a strong impression on the eye when compared with other nearby towns on the Riviera, especially Camogli, Portofino, Santa Margherita, and Rapallo, which are immediately to the south, and Sori, Pieve Ligure, and Bogliasco to the north.
