Hot warming puddings are always popular during cold weather. Many pudding recipes are traditional ones that have been popular for a long time and are likely to continue to be so. Our variable weather and uncertain climate have given them an essential place on the menu.
Some of these recipes can be baked along with a joint or a casserole, making maximum use of the oven. Fresh fruit, dried fruit and spices in various forms give puddings flavour. Serve them with delicious sauces, fresh cream or ice cream.
