When we were in southern Portugal, we visited the groves and production site of Monterosa Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
in Moncarapacho and did a tasting of several of their artisan varieties. I learned so much, and it reinforced what a difference high-quality olive oil can make in the flavor of a dish.
