Well, here we are, the course that we balance our menus around. That’s really the best way of building a dinner party or restaurant menu. You first look at the main course and whichever one you choose will help determine your starter and pudding.
I must admit if I’m cooking for myself and maybe a few friends I don’t worry too much about balancing all the dishes; I tend just to cook what I feel like eating. However, balancing dishes is very important. Making sure that all the dishes aren’t coated with cream sauces or too rich, for example, will give you a healthier and tastier meal.
