  • About
This will be a lot of people’s favourite chapter. We all love puddings, and we probably all eat far too many of them! The British are well known for their national sweet tooth, and there is a wealth of great traditional recipes for puddings, creams, fruit tarts and pies, and ices etc. It is said we liked sweet things so much that we had to invent an extra meal at which to enjoy them – afternoon tea – and so there are a few recipes here for teacakes and pastries (Gingerbread Cake, Banana and Pecan Nut Bread, Chocolate Flan and Semolina Tart among them).
